There is no ink included, however, you can register with HP instant ink and claim 6 months worth of instant ink for free.

The HP ENVY 6020e is a great all-in-one printer for families who want seamless connectivity and the simplicity of remote printing from a mobile app. It can help save on the cost of ink too. HP’s Smart App (available on iOS and Android) gets you set up for easy printing, scanning and copying from your smart device. You can print over your Wi-Fi network, and via its USB port too. It’s also compatible with HP’s Instant Ink Service. By signing up to Instant Ink you will be able to save up to 70% on ink and never run out. Ink is ordered by your printer and delivered to your door.

This printer is HP+ enabled. Choose HP+ at set-up to get 6 months of HP’s Instant Ink subscription service included, and other optional additional benefits.

HP Smart App
With this app downloaded, you can print, scan and copy on your smart device. Produce high quality documents which are then easy to share. And the app gets you started fast by guiding you simply through the printer set-up process.

Wireless integration
Dual band Wi-Fi means a better range and a faster, more reliable connection, and it’s self-healing so it automatically resolves connection issues to reduce interruption. Connecting to your Wi-Fi means you can print from a computer on the same network from anywhere in the house. Bluetooth allows for quick, direct printing from your smart phone or tablet, and it’s also compatible with Apple Airprint for seamless integration with iOS devices. You can still connect wired devices via USB in trusty traditional fashion of course.

HP+
This printer is HP+ enabled, an optional service that adds exclusive benefits, including:

• 6 months of HP’s Instant Ink subscription service (monthly fees apply thereafter unless cancelled), and save up to 70% on original HP ink or 50% on toner
• the printer keeps itself up to date, secure, and ready to print from virtually anywhere at any time
• advanced features within the HP Smart app, such as easy multi-paged documents scanning from your phone
• more sustainable printing with net zero-deforestation prints and closed-loop cartridge recycling

Choose to activate HP+ at setup. It requires an HP account, keeping the printer connected to the internet, and using only original HP ink for the life of the printer. HP+ is not a subscription service.

About HP Instant Ink
HP Instant Ink is a replacement ink service that saves you time and money ensuring that you always have ink before you need it. HP Instant Ink eligible printers that are connected to the internet send a message to HP when you need new cartridges and they’ll be shipped directly to you. Designed to ensure that you’re paying for the number of pages you print as opposed to the ink itself, it’ll help you get the most out of your printer.

For a monthly fee, you can enrol on the page plan of your choice (10, 50, 100, 300 or 700 pages per month) and, regardless of what you print, including colour photos, HP will send you the ink you need all included in your monthly price plan. If you do not use all your plan pages in a month, the unused pages will be kept in your account and automatically rolled over to the next month. You can roll over up to three times the number of pages in your monthly plan, for as long as you are enrolled in HP Instant Ink. For example, you can roll over up to 150 pages if you are enrolled in a 50 page plan. You can also upgrade your plan at any time if you want more pages or cancel your plan online without penalty if you need to stop your subscription.
